Effective national  coordination mechanism for the  implementation of  Multilateral Environmental Agreements(MEA) is key concern of  environment stakeholders in Liberia. The pending meeting will be the first since the last MEAs workshop in May,2011. That workshop mandated the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia as focal agency on MEAs, to coordinate stakeholders gathering where issues related to effective implementation of MEAs at national level can be discussed. The meeting will bring together stakeholder groups from line ministries, agencies, civil society, aid agencies and the UN family in Liberia.
